BARBECUE BRISKET SANDWICH
(8 - 12 servings)

This is a slow cooker recipe. We've used both our Chicken & Pork and Beef Dry Rubs in this recipe. Both were excellent, yet different.
3 - 4 lb. brisket
6 T. El's Kitchen Dry Rub for Chicken & Pork or Beef (not so spicy or spicy)
1/4 c. liquid smoke (look for liquid smoke in the marinade aisle)
2 c. barbecue sauce
Sandwich Buns, toasted
Rub the meat. Place on large piece of foil. Sprinkle with liquid smoke. Wrap well and put into Slow Cooker. Cover and cook on low 8 to 12 hours (high: 4 to 6 hours). Thinly slice beef on the diagonal across the grain.
Heat barbecue sauce in medium sauce pan over medium-low heat. Place cooked brisket in pan. Cook for a few minutes. Remove beef from pan and serve on toasted rolls.
